Coronavirus outbreak: Trudeau still mum on when government will release a federal budget

Speaking to reporters outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa on Wednesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau explained for reporters why he still can’t say when the government will release a federal budget. He says a budget projects what’s expected to happen in the Canadian economy in the next year, but the COVID-19 pandemic is making it difficult anticipating what’s going to happen in the weeks ahead.
