The image of British nurse Florence Nightingale was projected onto St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, U.K. on Tuesday in honour of the 200th anniversary of her birth. Nightingale is seen by many nurses as having laid the groundwork for work in hospitals today, and her birth is recognized on May 12 every year with International Nurses Day.
