New urban garden planted in Kelowna to help feed families in need

Fourteen garden beds on the corner of Kelowna’s Leon Ave. and Bertram Street that are going to produce 250 pounds of food for vulnerable families. The garden boxes that now wrap around the busy street corner is a partnership between Project Literacy Central Okanagan and Kelowna Community Resources to help feed their participants.
