Asked to specify how his government would ensure the safety of workers on Monday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said employers “would not be allowed to get away” with workplaces that are not “COVID-19 secure” and said health and safety inspections would be ramped up. He also called on employees to report conditions that are not safe.
