They are services that children who are deaf or hard of hearing desperately depend on…things like sign language lessons and speech therapy. But those services are facing significant cutbacks due to funding shortfalls. Tonight a Kelowna mom is speaking out saying cutting back on the critical service will take away her son’s language.
