B.C. minister of finance reports April unemployment numbers during COVID-19 shut down

Speaking during a press briefing on Friday, Finance Minister Carole James announces the latest data for job losses in the province. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployment numbers in British Columbia were reported to be at just 5 percent. James also reminds British Columbians of ways they can seek financial support during these challenging times.
