One person was taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash on County Rd. 10, north of Garden Hill on Thursday evening.
The vehicle was cresting a hill when the driver lost control.
The vehicle rolled over several times after entering a south-side ditch.
Port Hope firefighters responding to the crash had to extricate the driver, who was taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Firefighters also rescued a small dog from the car, which was uninjured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
