New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called on the federal government once again during his Tuesday briefing to pass legislation to fund states amid the COVID-19 pandemic, saying New York has given the federal government $116 billion dollars in taxes more than what they were given in the past five years, “so if they want to be fair, just give New York back the money they took.”
