Coronavirus outbreak: Scheer says Trudeau’s spending ‘spent the cupboards bare’ ahead of COVID-19

Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Monday, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer accused the Trudeau government of spending too recklessly prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, which “spent the cupboards bare” when it comes to Canada’s ability to mitigate the economic impacts of the pandemic.
