White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced on Friday in her first formal press briefing that the administration would be distributing $12 billion in relief funds to 395 hospitals across the country, saying these hospitals have cared for more than 70 per cent of the Americans who required hospital care due to COVID-19. She said $10 billion will go to hospitals treating 100 or more COVID-19 admissions.
