Freeland says in her experience ‘assault-style’ weapons have no place on the farm

Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada Chrystia Freeland recalled her own upbringing on a farm and the role guns played in her family, saying nobody she knew growing up ever owned an “assault-style” weapon.
