A car left the road and slid into a hydro pole on Parkhill Rd., just east of Water St., early Thursday morning. The crash – which occurred around 4:40 a.m. snapped the pole at its base and sent hydro lines tumbling to the ground.
Parkhill Road was closed for about an hour while emergency crews responded.
No word yet on injuries.
