During a COVID-19 update on Wednesday, British Columbia Premier John Horgan said that the province will announce plans next week to reopen the economy. He also said that they will be extending the state of emergency in B.C. for an additional two weeks, adding that it will take “resolute action by all of us to ensure that we continue to make progress” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
