One airlifted to Toronto following collision north of Port Hope

One person was airlifted to a Toronto-hospital following a collision between a SUV and scrap recycling truck north of Port Hope on Monday.
The collision happened at the intersection of County Road 9 (Ganaraska Road) and County Road 10 in Garden Hill.
OPP continue to investigate but say a car travelling northbound on County Road 10 collided with the truck travelling westbound on County Road 9.
The lone occupant of the SUV was first taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg and then transferred to Toronto by an Ornge air ambulance.
The driver of the commercial motor vehicle wasn’t injured.
