U.S. President Donald Trump was asked about his comments on injecting disinfectant to fight the virus from last week during a briefing Monday, telling reporters he “can’t imagine” why his comments would lead to a spike in people asking about ingesting disinfectant, as Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has said. Trump also said he doesn’t take responsibility for it.
