When asked about comments made by Conservative MP Derek Sloan, who called for chief medical officer Dr. Theresa Tam’s firing and whether Sloan should apologize, Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre said on Sunday that it’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who should apologize to Tam. He claimed Trudeau “keeps blaming her for all of his mistakes,” accusing him of keeping the border open longer than he should have and said the prime minister then blamed public health officials for the decision.
