On Saturday, British Interior Minister Priti Patel repeated the government’s plea for people to stay home amid the COVID-19 pandemic in order to slow the spread of the virus. She also announced the country has 813 new deaths to report, bringing the total to 20,319. In addition, a total of 148,377 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the United Kingdom, which is an increase in 4,913 cases since Friday.
