On Thursday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo revealed the preliminary “Phase I” results of a COVID-19 antibody test that was conducted in the state, reporting that out of a sample size of 3,000 people, 13.9 per cent of individuals tested positive for having antibodies. He clarified that these individuals were previously infected with the virus, and developed the antibodies to fight it.
