On Monday, Lanette Siragusa, spokesperson for Shared Health, announced new provincial guidelines for personal protective equipment (PPE), with workers being sorted into green, orange and red zones to dictate the appropriate use of PPE in certain situations. Siragusa said the goal of the new guidelines is to preserve PPE for health-care workers in high-risk settings throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
