Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced during Tuesday’s coronavirus briefing that the province is taking decisive action to protect the most vulnerable in developmental services, child welfare and victims shelters by providing CA$40 million to help these community organizations with COVID-19-related cost such as purchasing masks and gloves to protect care workers and other frontline workers.
