Nova Scotia shooting: Trudeau praises courage, community of RCMP after officer slain

Speaking outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa on Tuesday morning, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once again extended his condolences to the family and friends of Const. Heidi Stevenson, a 23-year veteran of the RCMP who lost her life in this past weekend’s deadly shooting rampage in rural Nova Scotia.
