On April 20, the Peel Regional Police in Ontario lowered flags at their buildings and played bagpipes to honour all those who lost their lives. Nova Scotia RCMP say “in excess of 19” people died as a result of the 12-hour shooting spree in multiple rural communities over the weekend. It is the deadliest mass shooting in Canadian history.
