A procession of 100 tractors and vehicles honoured frontline staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital and the Golden Plough Lodge long-term care facility in Cobourg on Saturday.
The convoy was organized by the Northumberland Federation of Agriculture and farmers from across the county. Some hospital staff were able to step out to catch the tractors past by as an emotional hospital CEO Linda Davis and senior vice-president Elizabeth Vosburgh and Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation executive director Rhonda Cunningham watched in the parking lot.
