Coronavirus outbreak: Toronto in its COVID-19 peak says medical officer of health

Dr. Eileen de Villa, Toronto’s medical officer of health, said on Monday that the data modeling shows the city is currently in its peak period for the COVID-19 outbreak, depending on the current reported cases. She said the COVID-19 case-doubling rate, which counts the number of days for the case counts to double, have slowed over the past two weeks, which indicates that pandemic activity is slowing down.
