RCMP on officer killed in Nova Scotia shooting: ‘We’ve lost one of our own’

Speaking at a press briefing Monday, Nova Scotia RCMP Chief Supt. Chris Leather described the force’s shock and sadness at the death of Const. Heidi Stevenson, a 23-year veteran of the force, remarking that they have “lost one of our own.”
