World Health Organization (WHO) director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that the organization welcomes accelerated development and validation of tests to detect COVID-19 antibodies that are helping officials understand the extent of the infection in the population. He added that the WHO is working with partners to increase the production and distribution of COVID-19 diagnostic tests for countries that need them most, and have placed orders for 30 million tests to come over the next four months.
