New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Sunday that the state is considered passed its COVID-19 peak at this point, and is on its way down the curve “if the data holds” and the trend of decreasing numbers continues.
Cuomo reported a total of 16,000 hospitalizations due to COVID-19 on Sunday. The state reached its height of 18,000 hospitalizations before the numbers began to decrease.
