After the Syrian government ordered the closure of all shops as a part of measures to curb the spread of the new coronavirus, Syrian tailor Hussam Issa offered his services to the Saed group – a non-profit that produces and sells personal protective equipment, such as gowns and masks, at a low cost to hospitals.
Saed group says they produce 200 gowns and 6,000 masks daily.
