San Diego Comic-Con, the ultra-popular annual pop culture convention and entertainment expo, was canceled for the first time in its 50-year history due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers said on Friday. The event had been scheduled to take place in July, and typically draws more than 130,000 fans to San Diego every year.
