New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs announced on Thursday that the province is extending the state of emergency for another 14 days, and will continue to extend it every 14 days until a point is reached where the restrictions are not needed.
He added that some revisions have been made on the declaration of emergency to ensure that restaurants that are open for take-out must make sure that customers waiting for food are maintaining a physical distance of at least two meters, and property owners must take steps to prevent gatherings on their premises.
