Every day for the past few days, staff at Cobourg’s Legion Village have been heading outside to bring a little joy to residents stuck inside.
At 10:45 a.m. employees at the 220-bed Long Term Care facility head to the courtyard for a physical-distancing dance party. Residents are encouraged to join in from their windows and balconies.
Employees say they want to raise spirits and help reduce some of the stress that’s built up during the pandemic.
