During a COVID-19 update on Tuesday, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang reported 43 new cases of the virus, marking the biggest one-day spike the province has seen so far, and bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 517. Strang added that they have also increased their testing capacity, processing over 1,400 tests in a single day on Monday.
