Toronto’s medical officer of health Dr. Eileen de Villa said Monday that the city had 2.632 total cases of COVID-19 and 92 deaths. The city’s top doctor also said Monday that there have been 50 deaths in long-term care settings, but that the city had started to see a slowing rate of infection in those facilities where measures were put in place to control the spread of the virus.
