Luxury goods maker Louis Vuitton transformed five of its factory floors in France, which are normally used to make its marquee leather bags, into mask producing operations as the country continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic. The company is aiming to manufacture hundreds of thousands of face masks as health workers throughout France face a shortage in medical equipment that has already prompted the government to requisition masks.
