Alberta’s Premier Jason Kenny announced on Saturday an additional 69 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 1,569.
He also announced one new death due to COVID-19, with a provincial total of 40 deaths.
Premier Kenny said that the number of hospitalizations was reduced by one, to a total of 47.
744 cases are declared as recovered in Alberta.
