Quebec Premier François Legault said on Saturday that there were 48 new deaths from COVID-19 and the number of cases had risen to 12,292. He said on the hospitalization front they had 778 people in hospital, an increase of 45, and 25 additional people were in intensive care. Legault said based on these numbers, the situation was “under control” in his opinion.
