Asked about a report that 159 temporary foreign workers from Mexico entered Canada and were not tested for COVID-19, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland stressed on Saturday that all workers must be tested and quarantine for 14 days under the Quarantine Act. She said they have been working with law enforcement and provinces to ensure enforcement of this, saying the Act applies to temporary foreign workers.
