Coronavirus outbreak: Ireland extends lockdown until May 5

On Friday, Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar announced that the country would be extending its stay-at-home coronavirus restrictions until May 5. Varadkar said the curbs had significantly slowed the spread of the outbreak, but more work was required to end it.
