During a press briefing on April 10th, U.K health minister Matt Hancock said the death toll from COVID-19 has risen by 980 to 8,958 overall, its biggest daily rise since the outbreak began. Hancock confirmed that Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s health was improving after leaving intensive care on Thursday.
