U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declined Wednesday to specifically call out China for a lack of transparency in providing data around its fight against the novel coronavirus, saying “this is not the time for retribution.” Pompeo said it is imperative on all countries to share data on COVID-19 in an accurate and timely manner, and said the U.S. has done its part to do that in his opinion.
