Toronto Mayor John Tory started Wednesday’s coronavirus briefing by extending greetings to the city’s Jewish community as they celebrate the beginning of Passover today.
He said he will be attending two virtual celebrations as all public Passover celebrations throughout the city have been cancelled to encourage social and physical distancing and to avoid large gatherings amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
