New York governor Andrew Cuomo said on Wednesday that the dramatic actions of pausing all non-essential businesses and school closures in New York along with other social distancing measures have worked and that the COVID-19 curve in the state has started to flatten. He said that the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients and the three-day-average of people hospitalized both decreased.
