Coronavirus outbreak: Trudeau says donations of medical masks by Huawei doesn’t mean quid pro quo on 5G

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed a report Tuesday that Huawei was quietly shipping medical masks and other protective equipment to Canada, saying they would ensure the equipment meets Canadian standards, but that receiving the products would not affect any future decisions involving the company, including on 5G networks.
