Coronavirus outbreak: Halifax girl writes letter to Trudeau asking him to bring dad home from Dubai

Malak Elshafei, an eight-year-old girl from Halifax, N.S., sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during an episode of CBC Kids News, asking the prime minister to bring her father home after he became stuck in Dubai on a business trip amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Trudeau said the government is working “really, really hard” to bring people home.
