Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said Monday it is “a bit too early” to say whether Ontario has peaked in the number of COVID-19-related cases being confirmed on a day-to-day basis in the province. Williams says that while travel-related cases have steadily dropped off, backlog and other testing issues may have contributed to inflated numbers in the past week.
