During a briefing on Saturday, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said the government is “optimistic things will be carried out in a proper way” between Canada and the U.S. regarding U.S. President Donald Trump trying to prevent Minnesota-based company 3M from exporting its N95 respirators to Canada. Williams said he’d leave this up to the federal authorities.
