When asked about how long physical distancing will need to continue and when individuals can return to work, Ontario’s associate chief medical officer Dr. Barbara Yaffe said on Friday that everyone needs to be “moving in the same direction” and follow proper health measures to ensure that the spread of COVID-19 is slowed. She added that “the more that everyone does what they’re supposed to do now,” the shorter the physical distancing period will be.
