During a provincial COVID-19 update on Friday, Ontario’s associate chief medical officer Dr. Barbara Yaffe said that there were 3,255 confirmed cases, with over 67,000 total individuals tested for the virus. She also added that there were at least 32 outbreaks in long-term care homes, which were linked to 24 deaths.
