On Thursday, NATO members agreed to “coordinate the necessary military support” to speed up deliveries of medical aid to allies suffering from the COVID-19 outbreak, with Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg saying that their “airlift capabilities are important in helping supporting allies dealing with this crisis.” The comments came as NATO is scaling down military exercises in Europe to curb the spread of the illness.
