Toronto Mayor John Tory announced on Thursday that he had signed into effect a bylaw requiring people to keep at least two metres between each other in public parks as the city continues to put into place further measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. He said he’s also asked the city manager and Toronto police chief to conduct operations at public parks to ensure compliance.
